Dear family and friends

Welcome to our RTW travel blog. After I was laid off in December following an intense year or so in investment banking, we figured now was the chance of a lifetime to take a long-awaited break and embark on a big trip while the world sorts itself out! We are going to be focussing on Asia, where we have long wanted to visit many places but never found the time, but also aim to visit the North America, Europe and South America over the next 3-6 months.

Here is a rough outline of our current itinerary:

Thailand and Indochina (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos)
Japan - skiing in Hakuba, where the Nagano Olympics were held
Canada
US
Sth America
London/Europe
Singapore
China and Nepal

We are aiming to hit the road next week, and would love to keep in touch with you all through this blog after then and/or catch up with you along the way.

Talk soon
